Rob Conway (Head Coach 2013-Present)

 

Coach Rob Conway started his Elite playing career getting Ulster and Ireland School caps. Following years of Representative rugby Coach Rob was accepted to train with Ulster and was fast-tracked into the Ireland (IRFU) National Rugby Academy, after which he was accepted into the Leinster Rugby Academy and played for University College Dublin and Dungannon RFC. Coach Rob's passion for rugby blossomed in these years in the Academy setup and had always eyed a career post playing as a coach. His career was hampered with serious injuries and he quickly established himself as a top strength & conditioning and rugby coach in Leinster, acquiring his IRB L2 S&C Coach and IRFU Stage 4 coaching Certificates. After 8 years working for Leinster Rugby, Rob and his family moved to Boston where he became our Boston College Men's Head Coach along with stints as head coach of the New England Olympic Development Academy. Since becoming head coach at BC, the men have stayed in the top 40 teams in the country and are going back for their 4th year in a row to the Penn Mutual CRC tournament.
